Our launch into the Latin America market began in 2020 with the launch of our full suite of services in Colombia.

With the highest number of subsea cable landings in Latin America and as the second most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world, Colombia represents an ideal entry point for international business looking to grow operations in the region.

The facility is located in Bogotá, inside the Zona Franca free-trade zone, part of the Equinix International Business Exchange data centre, and is a 15-minute drive from El Dorado International Airport.

Our Bogotá location is connected directly to our core sites in the United States over our MPLS backbone using high-capacity diverse links.

We peer IP with major Internet Exchanges and tier 1 providers in major cities to ensure we offer premium IP compared to our local competitors.

PUBLIC CLOUD

Continent 8’s cloud solution which offers a multi-tenanted, scalable and resilient IaaS platform to host customer infrastructure as virtual machines, launched in November 2020. Offering a fully regionalised product, the company’s Colombian entity will be able to conduct business with local customers in Colombian Pesos.
