Continent 8 provisions unparalleled High Availability IP Transit and MPLS services in Taiwan with low latency routes into many Asian networks, including China and South East Asia. We achieve a high level of resiliency and performance not normally available from local providers. Three additional PoPs were introduced to support our Taiwanese DC, including a DDoS scrubbing centre built locally in Hong Kong and in Los Angeles.
We connect our Taipei data centre directly to our core global MPLS backbone in Hong Kong and Tokyo using high-capacity diverse connectivity and on to our global peering and PoP locations; meaning that in the event of a carrier cable failure, Continent 8 is resilient and able to continue to deliver our network services via separate carrier cable systems.
