Continent 8 Technologies is a growing company currently providing advanced managed hosting and data centre services across three continents. The company has a significant market share in its primary sector, the e-gaming market, and is seeking to broaden its customer base across other industry sectors and geographies.  As part of this development, the company is seeking a Business Development Director that will provide insight and direction as the company looks to increase its penetration into further markets with new and innovative products.

Senior Systems Administrator – Dublin


As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Systems Administrator based at our Dublin office.


The main purpose of this role will be to install, manage and maintain Customer IT Systems as well as being a Key Technical lead within the department, providing guidance to colleagues and management. You will therefore be recognized as subject matter expert in two or more of the following:

  • Microsoft Enterprise Server, Active Directory and Exchange
  • Virtualization, preferable VMWare vSphere

IT Procurement Manager – London


We are currently looking for an IT Procurement Manager. The procurement function has recently been decentralised and therefore the purpose of this newly created role will be to develop, implement, and maintain effective systems processes and documents to ensure the efficiency of the procurement & contracting function across the entire business. As such this role will include global travel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and establish strong relationships with local and international vendors as well as with the internal “customers”
  • Negotiate pricing and favourable contractual terms with vendors to drive costs savings
  • Develop, implement and maintain effective system processes and documents
  • Tracking and management of global hardware & software annual support agreements
  • Prepare and submit detailed recommendations for the contract award, based on commercial and technical factors, to the department directors and CFO
  • Responsible for driving operational improvements in all aspects of the shipping area; i.e. development of a global shipping or broker supplier, implementation of a global shipping procedure and associated documentation



  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in vendor management for companies in the IT or Telecom sectors

Data Centre Technician – Malta


Following the opening of our second data centre in Malta, Continent 8 is looking for a Data Centre Technician to support our customer installations


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Technical support to customers – troubleshooting a variety of computer equipment including servers, disks, network cards and data communications equipment
  • Install, move, and configure servers and server related equipment (i.e. servers, switches, routers, disk arrays and misc. technology equipment)
  • Provisioning services such as network access, E-mail, Web, and DNS
  • Providing general support to customers
  • On call as part of a team rota



  • A higher-level qualification in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in an enterprise IT support environment

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit an Account Director based at our London office.


Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Account Director will be primarily focused on new business acquisition, but will also be tasked with revenue retention and growth within a selected set of existing clients.


Key responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a commercial plan to maintain and grow revenues in a selected set of existing customer accounts
  • Build a new business pipeline necessary to deliver sales targets
  • Attain prescribed revenue and transaction goals

TechLine Manager – Dublin


As part of our continuing growth we are expanding our Dublin office to further support the needs of our internal and external customers, and will be operating a full 24 x 7 operation supporting all product areas including IT systems, networks and managed services.


In this newly created role as well as building & managing the team, the TechLine Manager will be responsible for designing & implementing the processes to support 24×7 operations and integration of current support requirements in conjunction with other managers which will include systems, network and facilities. This individual will be key in shaping the future support processes, structure and development of the services provided by Continent 8 to its global customer base.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Build, develop & manage the frontline (TechLine) Support Team ensuring the efficient management of technical support personnel to meet & exceed all service level agreements in place
  • Coordinate with the Global Support Services & wider Continent 8 Technology Services management teams and align all team members as it relates to support goals
  • Coordinate global product support for shift resources related to customer support and managed services
  • Develop, implement and distribute relevant policies and procedures to support staff
  • Monitor the progress of open support tickets initiated by customers. Ensure tickets are tracked, documented and resolved, and customer updates are provided, in a timely manner as per established processes
  • Lead problem resolution meetings
  • Implement a continual process of refinement and optimisation to implement ways to make support services more efficient, (time, costs, and tools) without sacrificing quality

Senior Network Analyst – Isle of Man


Continent 8 Technologies is looking for an experienced network analyst to join the Network Operations team in Isle of Man. Working under the direction of the Network Operations Manager, the Senior Network Analyst will have primary responsibility for analysing, designing, installing, troubleshooting and ongoing support of the Continent 8 Technologies Global IP Network in North America, Europe and Asia as well as the corporate networking infrastructure and security.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in the planning, design, configuration and deployment of company’s highly available network environment, including switches, routers, load balancers, DDoS mitigation devices and other hardware.
  • Daily operational maintenance of existing network infrastructure. (mainly Cisco and Juniper)
  • Support customers with various network issues
  • Monitor system availability and performance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
  • Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components
  • Create and maintain current documentation
  • Participate in various information technology projects




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
