Continent 8 Technologies’ Isle of Man and Kahnawake Data Centres have been approved as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant. Passing this standard recognises the high standards that are in place for the protection of credit card data within the Company’s Data Centres.
The PCI DSS is a multifaceted security standard for enhancing credit card data security that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures, this comprehensive standard helps organisations proactively protect customer account data and therefore prevent credit card fraud
The PCI DSS is administered by the PCI Security Standards Council which was formed by the leading global credit card companies including MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

Continent 8 Technologies are looking at the approval process for the company’s Malta and Singapore Data Centres.
